———— VIDEO COMING SOON —————–

In creating PARTY PART 2, my goal was to deconstruct PARTY FOOD. There was a very loose narrative, but the main idea was to present all the characters and themes to the audience as if for the first time. The show opens with a pharmaceutical disclaimer while PARTY B. GOOD ingests a bottle of pills. Hallucinations begin to appear and drive him from the stage. We see lots of sea-vs-space imagery, some text relating to Dysgraphia, some video LOLcats, 2PAC clips. The pig escapes from the King’s castle and ends up in PARTY B. GOOD’s arms. Waltar looks everywhere for the mermaid but only finds heartbreak. In the end he decides to shoot himself in the head.

It was during this time that I began working with synchronized video performances. The narrative was loosely formed around the themes that were emerging in my work and research at the time, and also the visual relationships that I developed in the previous installation projects and drawings.

The show had little dialogue ( only subtitles ) and the narrative was mostly told through lyrics in the music, combined with the stage action and the visuals on screen.
